It wouldn’t be January at The Empire without The Adventures — and 2026 is no exception.
One of Belfast’s best-loved bands return to kick off the new year in style, performing fan favourites like “Broken Land,” “Sea of Love,” “Send My Heart,” and many more.
This year’s set also features tracks from their critically acclaimed 2025 album, “Once More With Feeling.”
Support on the night will be from Protex, the legendary pioneers of the Belfast punk movement of the late 1970’s. Reinvigorated in the last few years with major tours across Europe, US, Japan and throughout the world, Protex are once again recording and releasing new material for fans and will thrive on this hometown show.
DJ Johnny Hero will be on hand to compere the evening and play a classic DJ set before and after.
