Exciting new young English artist YUNGBLUD brings his explosive live show to Belfast’s Empire Music Hall next March on his 21st Century Liability tour.
Emerging from the gritty north of England YUNGBLUD brings to the stage an explosion of raw energy and thought-provoking lyrics. He has created his own blend of alternative rock: poetry, guitar-hooks and break-beats with a fierce determination to make a dent in pop-culture. Dangerously sexy, startlingly bold yet emotionally grounded YUNGBLUD drops a grenade on his audience members imprinting himself in their minds.
Dominic Harrison, who performs as YUNGBLUD, has expressed himself through his music as a “socially conscious artist unafraid of delivering genre-bending protest songs.”
His grandfather performed with T. Rex in the 1970s. Yungblud dropped out of school aged 16, beginning his music career in London. His singles began attracting popularity in 2017, when his style was described as “the spitfire suburban poetry of younger Arctic Monkeys and Jamie T, fused with a healthy touch of ska and hip-hop spirit”. Yungblud collaborated with Charlotte Lawrence for the song “Falling Skies”, which is featured on the season two soundtrack of 13 Reasons Why[ His debut album 21st Century Liability was released on July 6, 2018.
