Independence Day party at The Empire (a couple of days early but who’s counting??) and we are Bossing it with Bruce Springsteen tribute band Glory Days kicking off the celebrations in pure USA style. We will transform Botanic Avenue into Thunder Road and you’ll all be Dancing In The Dark for a special night dedicated to the music of the originator of American heartland rock!
Selling out venues from Cork to Coleraine and Dublin to Galway, Glory Days is now Ireland’s No.1 tribute band to Bruce Springsteen. Fronted by Christy Trimble, a lifelong fan of Springsteen, the all live 6-piece band started in 2019 but it was only post Covid that they were able to start touring and have quickly gained a reputation for creating a great atmosphere in their shows.
Their particular star has risen significantly on the tribute scene of late, most notably since being selected to play at the July 4th 2022 Independence Day bash at the American Embassy in Dublin, with sell-out shows ensuing across the country. Audience-participation is roundly encouraged, with rousing Springsteen classics like The River, Born To Run, My Hometown and Hungry Heart lifting people to their feet even in the most reserved of theatres and venues!
After a sold-out show at The Riverside Theatre in Coleraine, Glory Days are playing in Belfast for the first time at the Belfast Empire on 1st July, getting the 4th July party started for 2023! The band’s drummer Ivor Graham is a Belfast native, and the rest of the crew are promising to make his homecoming show one to remember!
Tickets on sale Friday 10th March at 9am from the Empire Bar (no fees) or Ticketmaster outlets/online (fees apply).
