Colm McIntyre (Album Launch)
An artist and musician from Belfast. Colm McIntyre has been writing songs from an early age raised on the classic songwriters from the golden era. He grew up on a working class estate in the post war era of Northern Ireland infamously named ‘The Troubles’. Finding solace in music, as a teenager he hung around the underground clubs and music venues that housed Belfast’s musical heart and soul fronting bands from the age of 16.
To expand on his writing he formed underground band ‘Concrete Circus’ playing and touring all over Ireland releasing their debut ep ‘Better Must Come’ in 2014.
In 2016, he received a higher national diploma at distinction level in music from Belfast Metropolitan College and released his first solo ep ‘It’s A Circus’.
In 2017, he teamed up with reggae heavyweights The Vibes and released ‘The Vibe Sessions’ of which all proceeds went to local charity Homeplus to help with the homelessness crisis in Belfast.
2018 saw the release of ‘Home’, his most intimate and challenging EP yet which mixed experiences of loss, want, wonder and magic in a modern world.
2019 will see the release of his first album entitled ‘Redemption’.
“These are my experiences, woven without fabric but with rhythm, melody and harmony into song, it is my mission to bring out your experiences through this music… I am committed.”

“… a uniquely captivating exercise in subdued, emotive song-making..” State IE
“…an EP absolutely loaded with passionate, heavily atmospheric tracks that take the time to slow down and think about contemporary times…” Chordblossom
“…A release of ruminating, Americana-tinged, wonderfully-realised release bursting with carefully-crafted pathos and soul. Here’s hoping release number two from Sumadh – an artist of Scots/Canadian heritage – doesn’t incur quite as long a gestation period…” The Thin Air
