Rebecca O’Connor as TINA...
The Freight Train is coming to The Belfast Empire

In the words of Tina Turner herself, “Rebecca is so good, it’s scary”.

Rebecca O’Connor “Simply the Best” as Tina Turner has just announced an encore tour after overwhelming success throughout Ireland in the Spring of 2016. Rebecca O’Connor will perform her very first show in Northern Ireland at the legendary Belfast Empire on Saturday May 13th.

“The demand for me through Facebook to come to Northern Ireland has been phenomenal” says Rebecca “so to be able to bring the show to the Empire Theatre is even more exciting as this is a venue I have always wanted to perform at since I was a teenager.”

Last year’s “Sold Out” tour across Ireland took in major theatres including Galway Town Hall Theatre, Waterford Theatre Royal and the famous Cork Opera House where a 1200 strong crowd stood in their seats to applaud this incredible performer. “It was like a freight train came through Cork and blew the doors off the theatre, it was so powerful and dynamic” - Chief Executive of Cork Opera House.

As the only Irish artist to ever win the prestigious European TV competition “Stars in Their Eyes” in front of over 33 Million viewers, Rebecca brought her performance of Tina Turner to life as she wowed the audience and has continued to do so all over the world to sell-out crowds ever since.

Be prepared to stand in your seats as Rebecca and her International band and dancers delivers a flawless rendition of Tina Turner’s greatest hits including, Nutbush City Limits, Proud Mary, River Deep, Private Dancer, When the Heartache Is Over, Better Be Good to Me and of course her anthem, Simply the Best.

Perfectly summed up by Mick Fleetwood of the legendary Fleetwood Mac, “Rebecca is an amazing singer and performer, I was mesmerised… a night you’ll never forget.”

Don’t be disappointed this time around, get in early to secure your seats for a show that is destined to become ‘The Must-See’ event on your 2017 calendar.
